The Bangladesh Country Programme for GCF provides a review and understanding of Bangladesh’s “low-carbon and climate resilient development” plans, the institutional and policy framework as well as coordination mechanisms for climate action in the country, and offers strategies and plans for identifying transformational investment opportunities in accordance with GCF’s Results Management Framework and priority for Bangladesh.
The document gives an overview of the processes required for fostering country ownership as well as collaboration between national designated authorities / focal points and accredited entities, through structured dialogues. It also includes a pipeline of projects and programmes that Bangladesh would like to undertake with the GCF.
